Mac and iPhone
The runtime decides. The apps let you see what your agents are doing and answer them without going back to a terminal. No rule lives in either app.
Memnox for Mac
A small island in the notch. It stays quiet until something needs you: a call waiting for a yes, a question, a paused session or a failure.
- Answer a waiting call with Deny, Allow this session or Allow once. Every allow asks for Touch ID. A deny never does.
- Talk to it. Press ⌥ Space and speak. Your words go to your own Claude Code, so no extra key is needed.
- Undo. Say put it back and it rewinds the files after Touch ID.
On first launch it finds memnox or installs it, runs setup and starts the
background service, so you do not need the terminal at all. Needs macOS 14 or
later.
Things you can say:
| You say | It does |
|---|---|
| Which one is working? | Counts the sessions that are active right now. |
| Give me a summary of it. | Shows a card and reads it out. |
| Pause that one. | Pauses at once. Resuming asks for Touch ID. |
| Tell me when the tests pass. | Speaks up when they do. |
| That broke the UI, put it back. | Rewinds, after Touch ID. |
Memnox for iPhone
Your Mac stays in charge. The phone shows what is waiting and sends your answer back, encrypted end to end.
- Waiting: every held call from your Mac. Allow asks for Face ID. Deny does not.
- Live Activity: the count and Allow or Deny, on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island.
- Voice: speak on the phone and your Mac answers.
Needs iOS 18.
Pair a phone
On the Mac app, open pairing and scan the QR code with your iPhone. Check the six digits match on both screens, then approve on the Mac with Touch ID.
On a Mac or server without the app, pair from the terminal:
memnox pair --name "work laptop" # shows a code to type on the phone
memnox devices # what is paired, and what each may do
